About Me

My name is Kaitlin Schreiner, I attend North Carolina State University in the Fashion and Textile Design program. My concentration is in Textile Design and that is where my passion lies. Most of the inspiration for my products and designs come from nature. I find such beauty in the natural things given to us on this earth and the things that most people may not take the time to look at. My aesthetic is very whimsical, fairy, and nature inspired. Almost everything I design is organic and I tend to stick towards this aesthetic in everything I create.

My design start came from my love for painting in my high school art classes. Nothing made me happier than when I had a brush in my hand for a couple hours each day. From then I have not been able to stop creating and designing things that I am very passionate about. In the future I plan to continue my passion for the arts by utilizing the tools I have acquired such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Lectra Kaledo Print, Knit Paint, EAT, hand weaving, digital printing, painting, drawing, writing, and communicating my inspirations into concept boards. My love for art is something I hope to carry with me the rest of my life and I hope to use this great gift to the fullest of its potential.
