The Lost Girl fine details
IMG_1379
First round of tea towel prototypes for senior collection 😊✨👍🏼 #ftdemergingdesigners

The Lost Girl is a home textile collection that communicates a sophisticated girl who loves adventure and magic. She is a dreamer and aims to keep alive the whimsicality that is drawn from her inner child. The collection and brand is inspired by Peter Pan and themes from the story of the Lost Boys; more specifically the idea of never wanting to grow up and keeping the magic aflame. The collection includes motifs such as maps, trees, acorns, thimbles, and tiger lilies to communicate my Lost Girl feelings. A range of colors such as golds, reds/pinks, greens, neutrals, and blues will assist in communicating these themes in collaboration with jacquard weaving and digital printing.

Every piece was designed and created by me from beginning to end. Each design was originally watercolored and then scanned into Photoshop to create the prints and designs shown below, then digital printed onto cotton twill or jacquard woven.
